Aqua NAIO™ Practitioner Training Program
40 hours, including a 4-day Water Immersion
A NAIO™ elective or postgraduate specialization in water-based facilitation.
Culminating in certification as an Aqua NAIO™ Practitioner
Aqua NAIO™ is a 40-hour application of NAIO™ principles to water-based contexts, open to current NAIO™ students fulfilling their Elective requirement, and to certified NAIO™ Practitioners seeking a postgraduate specialization.
Asynchronous Online
4 hours Tutorials outlining the application of water-based facilitation and ensuring safety.
4-Day Water Immersion
32 hours A dive into Aqua NAIO™ with water-based sessions that develop practitioner resonance and confidence in the water, as well as practitioner listening and presence skills.
Personal & Group Salon
4 hours Individual mentoring in an Aqua NAIO™ session, combined with group salon time to consolidate practitioner learning.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Aqua NAIO™ is available only to those within, or graduating from, the NAIO™ Practitioner path:
- As the Elective requirement — enrolled NAIO™ students may use Aqua NAIO™ to fulfill the 40-hour Elective component of the certification, priced separately per the standard Elective fee structure.
- As a postgraduate specialization — certified NAIO™ Practitioners who completed a different elective may return afterward to complete Aqua NAIO™ separately, earning the Aqua NAIO™ specialization alongside their core certification.
Aqua NAIO™ is not offered as a standalone credential to the general public, and is not positioned as a general aquatic bodywork certification. It is a NAIO™-specific application of NAIO™'s own framework, requiring the foundation of the core Practitioner path.
A practitioner is welcome to focus their eventual practice exclusively on water-based work — that is a legitimate scope of practice. What's required is the path to get there: Aqua NAIO™ is an application of the complete NAIO™ understanding, not a separate or shortened method, so the full NAIO™ Practitioner training must be completed first, regardless of how narrowly a practitioner intends to focus afterward.
Completion certifies you as an Aqua NAIO™ Practitioner, specialized in water-based application of NAIO™ principles.
Certification is granted under the NAIO™ trademark, owned by Prue Jeffries and licensed to NAIO™ International (Dione Endeavours LLC), and is governed by defined trademark usage agreements and scope-of-practice and ethical guidelines.
