Naio International works to collaborate and exchange with affiliated organizations world-wide that support the growth of holistic
and somatic practices such as NAIO™, and provide resources for practitioners and their practices
Our program maintains the high standards of an Approved Training Program of the International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association (ISMETA). Our graduates meet all requirements to become Registered Somatic Movement Educators (RSME) and Therapist (RSMT).
Naio™ International is a proud to be a member of ISMETA The International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association. Its Practitioner Training Program in Naio™ has been registered as an ISMETA Approved Training Program.
Graduates of the NAIO Practitioner Training Program, can apply to ISMETA for professional membership, in several categories for professional recognition and designation as a somatic movement education professional.
ISMETA is a collaborative of individuals and organizations dedicated to evolving the field of Somatic Movement Education and Therapy. Since 1988 their not-for-profit organization has provided services including defining and upholding professional standards, advocating in legal and governmental arenas, connecting the worldwide somatic movement community, educating the general public and partnering with other professional organizations in complementary and integrative health care, human services, education, social justice and the arts
ISMETA maintains a professional registry of qualified practitioners and ensures that Somatic Movement Training Programs uphold high standards of education and practice. The organization is committed to furthering the recognition of the Somatic Movement profession. ISMETA offers events, networking platforms and professional development opportunities to our global membership.
NAIO is listed as a recognized modality by the Hands on Trade Association. Certified NAIO Practitioners and Guild Members can obtain insurance through Hands On Trade Association.
Hands On Trade Association provides professional and general liability insurance coverage, along with business benefits, for independent contractors in a wide array of businesses in beauty, bodywork, massage and more.
